A Great time of fellowship

January 27, 2009 9:50p.m.

I had a great morning of study preparing for our Bible Institute. It's always a blessing to train others on Tuesday nights. The LORD helped us and I do praise HIS NAME for all HE continues to do. Actually I just got back from there and it was truly a blessing.

Our church van broke this morning so my wife and I made three trips to Standish today. Praise God the van is fixed and Johnsons garage did a wonderful job and were very timely. What a blessing it is to meet nice people like this.

I flew to Manchester N.H. today to pick up my good friends the Fullers. We had a wonderful time of fellowship together. Mrs. Fuller was able to spend her gift certificate that we had given her to the local quilt shop here in our town. Please watch the video and pray for Bro. Fullers ministry here in New England. I recommend Bro. Fuller highly and thank GOD for his faithfulness to our LORD these many years.

I thank each of your for your prayers and love for us.

Greetings on this Saturday

January 24, 2009

The LORD has indeed blessed these last two days. I appreciate HIS Grace and Goodness and the privilege of being able to serve HIM!!

My wife and I just got back from soulwinning. We had a good time talking to several people today. You have to be innovative in the cold weather. We still are faithful to go out but door to door is kind of on hold until this windchill subsides.

I have been busy with discipleship the last two nights with two families from the church. Tonight we are going to a neighbours house for a meal. We love to hang out with people to disciple them and be a blessing. May the GOD of Heaven continue to use us for HIS glory!! I hope you enjoy the little message in the video.

Good Morning on this Thursday

January 22, 2009

Greetings in Jesus Name to each and everyone of you that follow us on the blog. The LORD has been so good to us this week. But then again HE is good to us everyday and HIS NAME is to be praised!!

I have been doing my best to hang low since I hurt my shoulder in a skiing accident on Saturday. I am praying about going to the Dr. today because it seems like it just wont get better. Pray for me that the LORD will supernaturally work in this area.

This time has give me plenty of opportunities to spend in the WORD and it's been a blessing. I appreciate the SPIRIT of GOD speaking through the WORD of GOD and helping me in my daily life.

The meeting on Tuesday night was a huge success with the town council. I believe the issue of on street parking during the snow band will be taken care of with a common sense approach. I appreciate the town council and town manager Green being understanding. I will be working with the Public Works Director to work out all the details. The LORD be praised for helping us through this time.

Last nights service was a great blessing. Their was a good crowd and a good spirit in the meeting. I have been enjoying our study that we have been having on personal revival. Revival is not a mere series of meetings but it is a daily move of God in our life as we walk in the Spirit. May the LORD help each of us to live out these truths.

The Cherokee six should be done today or tomorrow and back up in the air. Several things needed to be addressed and we are on those getting them in order. I look forward to using this tool in the ministry. I will get some current pictures of it for you to see.

Thanks again for all your prayers and love for our family. We love what we are doing here. I do wish we could see some more people saved and baptized. Pray much that God will work and we can see many more saved. HE is the LORD of the harvest and HE is the one that gives the increase. My converts don't stay around long but HIS stick to the stuff. Pray for me that I will continue to be a testimony and a witness of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST in this part of the globe.

Love each of you

A recent picture of how much snow we have had lately!!

Shoveling out of the Storm

January 19, 2009

Today was filled with a lot of shoveling and plowing. My shoulder has improved enough for me to drive the tractor but I believe I will go to the Dr. tomorrow and see what he says. I took a horrific fall skiing and now I believe I have some muscle damage or rotor cuff issues. Pray much for me that it will not be a bad as I think it may be.

I was thrilled to be able to share the gospel with a gentleman today at the airport. Pray much that he gets saved soon. It's wonderful to be able to daily share the gospel and pray for people to be saved. Pray that we can see more saved and baptized soon. My heart is burdened but I do believe we are ministering to heathens. Many that I talk to have never heard the gospel. With that in mind faith comes by hearing and they have never heard. It's just like starting from the letter a. May God continue to fill me to share the gospel with boldness.

I thank each of you for your prayers and love for us and the ministry here. Keep it up. Pastor Todd Bell

Going to Sunday Services

January 18, 2009

This is typical for Maine....Going to church in a snowstorm. It was beautiful to watch the snow fall. We had a great service, then had lunch and a baby shower for the Boucher family, then held a 1:30 church service instead of our evening service. This gets everyone home safe before nightfall and gives them time to clean up their driveways. We have over a foot of snow and it is still coming down at 6 pm tonight. We thank God for our church family and their faithfulness to attend in the harshest of weather.

Skiing adventure at Sunday River Resort, Newry, Maine

January 17, 2009

Benjamin and I had a fun filled day. I praise the Lord for my good son and the fellowship we had together. I hope you enjoy the video.

The transaction is official

The transaction is now official. I flew down to Cape May NJ today to exchange the C310 for the Cherokee Six. I praise God for His watchcare as we flew in some of the coldest weather I have ever flown in. The weather was beautiful but the cold made the plane do some quirky things. I left at 7:30 a.m. this morning and was back by 1p.m. Praise the LORD for these great tools.

I promised you an update of the snow and cold!!!

January 15, 6:35 p.m.

It's cold up here

January 15, 2009 5:45 a.m.

It's cold up here this morning. Just dropped to the big goose egg at 0! I'm fine with that but I am not fine with it being cold spiritually. I preached last night about Caleb and Joshua being two of the guys that helped Israel to obtain their possession. I said, I want to be one of those guys that leads GOD'S people into their promised possession and all GOD has for them. The LORD has truly blessed in this six message series on Deuteronomy 1. You can find all the messages at our church website and I pray they are a blessing to you.

I took the plane to Portland yesterday to get the IFR cert for the transponder. They called back and said it needs a new altimeter. That's airplanes for you. Should be ready today. Hopefully I'll go tomorrow and make the trade.

Our services went well last night with a good crowd and good spirit in the meeting. I praise God for our good church and all HE continues to do in and through the services. Pray much that many will be saved and great things will be accomplished for HIS Glory and Honor.

Are you still waiting on the pictures of the airport? I got something better than that coming. I just got a flip video thing and hopefully I'll have something for you in that area soon.

I love Wednesdays but then again........

Wednesday, Janauary 14, 2009 5:57 a.m.

Yes I do love Wednesdays because we get to go to church but then again I actually love everyday. I praise GOD for the call to be in the ministry. The scriptures declare,"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;." Daily I get up with the thought of what a joy it is to be in the ministry. I actually do not have to go to work!!! Ha!!! That was suppose to be funny.

Yesterday was spent in my study in the morning and then to the woodworking shop the rest of the morning. Most of the rest of the day I helped Bro. Antonia's put all his stuff on two trucks. That was kind of fun but messed with my study time for Bible Institute so I called it off. We will get at soon and be back to studying together but until then I want to be ready and prepared and felt as though I wouldn't be after that day yesterday. Maybe I'm getting a little weaker in my old age (39 old hmmmmm).

Also last night I had to go back down to the airport and move planes and get another ready to go to Portland to get the transponder fixed. Mrs. Amy went with me so we had a little date and that was fun.

I finished off the night back in my shop and delivering some cabinets to Ron's. A very busy day but prosperous in the Work of GOD! I have found from being in the ministry that it's more than just studying your BIBLE. I love to do this but their are a whole lot of other things that must be done to keep everything going. My wife will probably say to me, "yes like taking down our Christmas sign on the barn." O.K. I heard that, I will get right to it. Theirs like four feet of snow out there in the paddock but I will get to that today.

Pray much for our service tonight that it would be a home run for Jesus!! Oh yeah I haven't forgot the pictures of the airport. Their coming today because Mrs. Amy and I have to take the plane to Portland and pick up some things for her ladies meeting tomorrow night.

Do you enjoy keeping up with what God is doing in our lives?????

HE is so good and I do praise HIS NAME. I just noticed that it takes me about 10 minutes a day to type down these few things. Still typing around 70 words a minute. Not that bad for a mountain boy from N.C.

Love you all

Good Morning on this Tuesday

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 6:33 a.m.

I pray each of you are having a wonderful day. My day started at 5:30 a.m. this morning. The weather is very cold at three degrees this morning. They are saying that we are going to have the coldest weather in five years this weekend. Well, praise the LORD anyway!!! He is worthy of praise and I just love living here and enjoying the weather. It snowed a little more yesterday giving us a total of probably close to two feet. It's beautiful to look at everyday.

I taught little Jamie Fitzgerald a lesson on the wood lathe yesterday. He is a young man in our church that loves woodworking. I spent some time showing him how to make a rolling pin. We had a good time together.

I made another base cabinet in my shop for the apartment that the Wright's will be living in. That is the last one and now Ron and I will install them. After that I will be making the doors and drawers. I'm a little behind but I believe I will done before they are here.

The Cessna 402 is back online. The turbo work was done well and it flew great. It's great to have this tool back online. I didn't make the trade of the Cherokee six yesterday. We are praying toward Friday for this to happen. Pray it all works out in God's will and time.

Last night was a family date. It's wonderful to spend time with the family. I appreciate the good time we had together. We spent a Christmas gift certificate that we had got to Applebee's.

I'll get some pictures today of the airport. The snow is deep down there. It's kind of neat to see.

A Good Monday to All

Monday January 12 2009 7:29a.m.

The LORD blessed us with a wonderful day on yesterday. The turnout was great in light of about 8 inches of snow. Last night it looked liked everybody was out and we had wonderful services. I preached all day from Deuteronomy 1 again. It seems like the Spirit of God has me there and won't let me out. I praise the LORD for how HE is continuing to bless and help. Your welcome to go to our church web page and download these messages. I pray they are a blessing to you.

I spent the afternoon yesterday on the tractor plowing and moving snow at the church. That was fun as I still have alot of boy left in me.

Today I'm going to change the pace a bit and teach some woodworking to a young boy in my church and also make some cabinets. Possibly tonight my boy and I will go skiing for a little while.

I pause this morning and lift up Holy hands to give God the Glory for all HE has done and continues to do in my life. Will you pause with me?

Love each of you.

A Great Saturday Night Jubilee

January 11, 2009 5:02 a.m.

What a blessing the jubilee was last night. I enjoyed preaching about the man that fell out of church named Eutychus. My challenge was that we need to be careful or we will end up just like him spiritually and physically out of church. I preached about his misfortune, miracle and message that he had to share. God did alot for this young man and HE likewise is doing alot for us. We have a message to share to the nations that we to have been raised from the dead (Ephesians 2:1).

The memorial service went well on yesterday. I sense the LORD used us to comfort the family and share the Good News that JESUS saves. These services are sometimes tough to do but the LORD granted grace and glory.

I'm looking forward to preaching the Word of God today. I must go and get at studying some. It's currently 18 and snowing and we are suppose to get six or more inches. Their is a parking ban but we will just park off the street somewhere so we don't cause any harm to the snow plows. Pray much that God's people will be encouraged today and uplifted as I preach the unsearchable riches of Christ.

Love all of you

Preacher

P.S. I forgot to mention that our good friend of the ministry Dr. Lancaster has been a blessing again by trading his Cherokee six with us for the Cessna 310. He gave me my payoff and I am giving him his. Of course mine is higher but he said he wanted to do this to be a blessing to the ministry. Thank you Dr. for being such a blessing! I'm looking forward to having a high performance single back in the fleet. I will use this as our commuter around the Northeast and use the twin as our team plane.

Saturday Night Jubilee

January 1, 2009 8:25 a.m.

I am thrilled today with the thoughts of our Saturday Night Jubilee. Slowly but surely our culture has had an affect on old time religion. The days of Holy Ghost filled meetings are quickly being replaced with seminars, counseling sessions and teaching ministries. All of those have their place but when it comes to church services we should meet together and have old time singing and old time preaching and old time praising the LORD! May the God of Heaven do that for us tonight. The services begin at 6 p.m. and come prepared to worship the KING!!

The last few days have been very busy in the ministry. I marvel at how it never stops. For example, after I get done with all my days duties I love to disciple new couples. On Thursday night the Fitzgerald's came at 5:30 and left around 8:30. What a wonderful time we had. Last night I discipled the Berards and we spent around four hours together studying and learning. This is the great commission and it's wonderful to be involved in it.

Today I am studying for several messages and also going soul winning in our community. I have a memorial service at church at one o'clock to. Today will be filled with all kinds of different ministry opportunities. Pray that souls would be saved and that the GOD of Heaven would use me for HIS Glory!!

Were suppose to get some more snow tonight. Possibly 8 inches of the white stuff. That will mess with our services because of parking. Pray that we can get another building where this does not interfere!

Love all of you

Greetings to All

Thursday, January 8th 2009

The LORD has indeed blessed all throughout this week thus far. I so much appreciate HIM being real in our lives as a family and in my life individually. I praise GOD for HIS continued faithfulness.
I want to take this time to thank GOD for my beautiful wife. She is such a blessing and encouragement to me in the ministry. The LORD has given me such a wonderful virtuous woman to work in the harvest fields that are ripe unto harvest. Please continue to pray for her that GOD would continue to use her.
Next, I want to give GOD the glory for my four wonderful kids. They cause me no grief and I appreciate their obedience and heart and desire to serve GOD. I couldn't ask for any better kids. Please pray for them also as they seek GOD'S will for their lives.
We also take care of a very kind lady that lives with us and her name is Miss Eleanor. She prays for and cares for our family for which I am eternally grateful. I kid around and call her my "fifth child." I thank GOD for her.
This week the LORD has helped us in so many areas. I think of personal soul winning as one of those great areas where I have seen HIS HAND move so gloriously. I have had several opportunity's to share the gospel. No one has been saved yet this week but I have enjoyed sharing the Good News with many.
Our services on Tuesday night were great also. I never get over the wonderful truth of the filling of the HOLY GHOST to minister HIS WORD!! What a thrill to preach in the fullness of the HOLY GHOST and to taste and see that the LORD is good.
It's snowed again this week. The landscape is beautiful when you look out the windows. I have included a few pictures but they really do not portray the beauty like I would like for them to.
This week we also have seen the LORD bless in a huge way financially. I have seen 1600 dollars come in for our own family. We have been able to finish putting our replacement windows in the farm house with some of this. I've not put the windows in yet but I do have them on site.
The ministry of Wings with "The Word" has had over 8,000 come in for the repairs of the plane and turbo this week. Whoopee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glory to God!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Continue to keep this in your prayers as we ready ourselves and the ministry of getting out the GOOD WORD of GOD!
Also this week I have talked to three families that will be headed this way LORD willing. It's so exciting to see the LORD answer prayers in a direct way. I pray daily for labourers and I appreciate the LORD letting me experience HIS hand of blessing in seeing some called up here. Continue to pray for more labourers to be sent to this area to start more churches.
As you can tell I should stay with the daily updates because it doesn't take long for the blog to have some length to it. JESUS CHRIST is doing a wonderful work and HE is greatly to be praised!!
I covet your prayers!!

A Great Weekend

The LORD blessed us with a wonderful weekend of service. Sunday is always a special day in my life. I love to preach the Word of God and be a blessing to the people of God. The LORD burdened me to preach from the Old Testament book of Deuteronomy. Oh how HE blessed in our meetings. I do not take for granted the filling of the HOLY GHOST to preach HIS WORD!! What a joy and delight to share the unsearchable riches of CHRIST! I had a good flight up to Islesboro to be a part of the Island Baptist Church and their good preacher Bro. Bill Schoppe.
Today I have spent a good part of the day making cabinets. I also went visiting for a few hours and got to share the gospel with several people. Even on my day off I want to be busy as a soul-winner. Actually as a Christian we never have time off. We should always be ready to win souls and share the truth of the Word of God.
Thank you so much for praying for me.

Pastor Todd Bell

I'm praying each of you have a wonderful new year

I'm praying for each of you to have a wonderful new year. Thanks for keeping up with what God's doing here in this work and most importantly for praying for me and my family. What a privilege the LORD has afforded me to serve HIM full time here in this area.
We had great services last night. The GOD of Glory blessed in a wonderful way with all of the preacher's in Bible Institute preaching. Wow what messages and what authority they preached with. Truly the LORD JESUS is up to something and only time will tell how HE uses all of these men. Thank you men for a great night!!
Today I'm going to make some cabinets and do some visiting. I'm looking forward to a great day in the LORD! Every time we get done with a service I immediately begin to look forward to the next. In my mind I'm already preparing for Sunday and all that God has in store for us. Pray that we can see people saved and lives changed for HIS glory and honor.
The temperature is warming up. It's up to 15 now and we are suppose to be in the 20's today. Better get the sunscreen out.

Love to All

Happy CHRIST filled New Year

It may be cold on the outside but thank GOD it's warm on the inside of our house and the inside of our hearts. Our family is blessed and we do praise HIS HOLY NAME for how good HE has been to us. I'm looking forward to a great year if the LORD tarries HIS coming. I'm waiting daily for HIM to come back and this could be the year that HE does come to get HIS church. Glory!!!! What a day that's going to be when my JESUS I shall see.
We are praying toward a great service tonight. I have ask all the preacher boys to preach and let er rip. They are going to be challenging us with New Year messages. Our service last night got moved to tonight because of a little snow that we got yesterday. Pray much that the LORD JESUS CHRIST will be uplifted and glorified through our meetings tonight.
Yesterday Mrs. Amy and I worked alot at the church and we have another day of it today. Just doing little stuff and tidying up some things. I thank God for the building HE has given us and I want to do our best to take care of it.
The LORD has once again provided some of the funds for the turbo. An individual read it yesterday on the blog and said they wanted to help by the tune of over 2,000 dollars. Whoopee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all going to come in I know!!!!!!!! The LORD is moving and HE is greatly to be praised.
