Greetings in Jesus Name

A whole lot goes through your mind as you write the last post of the year.  What an amazing year of ministry the Lord has blessed me with.  We have seen the church grow!  People have been saved!  Families have been added to the church!  Our foundation has broadened!  More missionaries have been taken on for support!  Other churches are in the process of being started! (Since moving to Maine in 1996 our family has been used of God to start two "mother" churches and three more daughter churches with another coming within the next month or so.)  My life dream is coming about day after day.  Bless the Lord!

Yesterday was so huge!  I was able to share the Gospel with so many people.  What a great joy.  This is the reason why God has me here is to see people saved!  Well Glory!

Also on yesterday I was able to purchase a monitor heater to help with heating my study.  It's nice to be down here in the daylight basement and have such a wonderful place to come to meet with God!

Today I'm working around the house and spending time with the family.  Tonight we go to a new years party at a families house in our church.  It's going to be a super doopah day!

Now to the Word of God!

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

In the previous verse the Word of God teaches us about the author that he has learned how to be abased and how to abound.  Then this verse is given.  In the context I can do the "all things" through Christ of abounding and being abased.  Whatever the Lord chooses for me through Christ I can do it!  What a joy to serve the Lord Jesus Christ!

Greetings in the Matchless Name of the Lord Jesus Christ

What a powerful day we had on yesterday.  I was in McDonalds a few weeks ago and witnessed to a man that said he had preached for 20 or more years and been in evangelism also.  He got bitter against the church and God and left the ministry.  He walked the aisle yesterday and wept his way back to Calvary!!!  Somebody hold my mules!!!  Glory!!!  Whoopee!!!!

Bro. Luke preached last night and did a tremendous job.  God is using him and is going to use him in a mighty way!!!  Bless the Lord!!!

Today I've been studying and planning for new year.  Also making the radio broadcast on Gaius out of 3 John.  Powerful truths!  Have a listen on  wgcr.net under media and Wings with "The Word"!!

I'm headed out to plow and clean up at church in a little!  The Work of God is so wonderful!!  Somebody say AMEN!!

What a joy to lay hands on another Man of God on yesterday.  That was part of our day of service for the King.  In the morning we studied then went soul-winning and visiting.  In the afternoon I drove to Westbrook and then back for more cleaning at the church and then back home for family time together. Praise the Lord for His blessings.

Today is study, pray, and preach all day!!!  Glory!!  I love the Lord's day.  Let's expect great things from this day.  I'm believing God for Him to work supernaturally through the day!!  Glory!!  Whoopee!!  Hallelujah!!!!

Greetings in the Matchless and Marvelous Name of the Lord Jesus Christ

Praise the Lord for the tremendous day on yesterday.  The Lord indeed was good to us and we had some time with the family.

Also in the middle of the day we spent time with one of the families in our church that her husband passed away.  Just a young man of 46.  The Lord knows and we trust Him.

Today I'm studying, visiting and soul winning, going to an ordination and studying some more.  Should be a terrific day in the Lord!

I'm coming to an end of my through the Bible listening this year.  Yes you read it write I have enjoyed listening to the Word of God this year.  I'm choosing another plan for next year.  I love the Word of God!!  Here's another exert  from my readings……..

1 Peter 5:9  "Whom resist stedfast in the faith…….."

In our spiritual warfare oft times we resist but many times not in the faith.  We need to realize in and of our own strength that we are no match for the enemy.  When we resist him make for sure that we are doing it with steadfastness and also keeping it in the faith.  The Word of God is the weapon that we trust to get us through the spiritual warfares of the ministry!

Praise the Lord that I am typing this out from my new study in the basement of our house.  For years we have housed staff and missionaries in this apartment but yesterday I made it my new study.  I still have a lot to do but it is very nice to have a large study and for it to be a quiet place.  How much more thrilling can it be then to read and study in quietness.  Watch out church here comes the sermons!!!!

Today I will continue working on my study.  Also we plan some  family time with the kids.  I should go and plow at the church to see how it's going.  We got 3 inches of snow yesterday throughout the day.  Let us never forget that we will see people today and most do not know Christ.  I will look forward to sharing the gospel with them!!

1 John 2:3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

The Word of God teaches us that we can know that we have eternal life.  The book of 1 John is filled with passages that gives us proofs of that.  This is one of many of them that is recorded for us.  When a person gets saved that person is changed.  How is that?  The Holy Ghost after salvation indwells the believer and the work of sanctification settles in.  After salvation such a change takes place that we then enjoy the commandments of our Saviour.  I would ask myself some tough questions to confirm that you  "know Him"!!!  What comfort the Word of God brings to each of us as we search the scriptures!
Bless the Lord!

Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

I had a great day of study on yesterday.  Also the Lord blessed as I visited in the jail.  No one was saved but I was able to share the  gospel.

Last nights service was a great blessing.  We had a strong attendance with abundant liberty and power to preach the Word of God!  Bless the Lord!

Last night we opened some gifts and had a great time of fellowship with the family.

Today I am studying and working around the house.  Also we will go to some friends house for lunch and fellowship.  Times with family and friends are priceless so we will enjoy ourselves  today.

Merry Christmas from the Bells!

Greetings in Jesus Name

What do I say?  The Lord indeed has blessed us in such a wonderful way.  I can't even begin to believe how much has been accomplished this year for His Glory and Honor.

Souls have been saved, churches have been established, flights have been made and I could go on and on!

We send out a prayer letter every other month but the truth is we could send out one weekly.  So much is happening in the the ministry here.  Bless the Lord Oh my Soul!

For the last three days we have presented the Star of Hope Christmas musical.  We had great crowds and really sowed a lot of the the seed of the gospel.  It was such a thrill to see it all come to pass.  The choir and the cast did a tremendous job.

I will probably be writing more in the coming days because I have a new mac computer.  My other computer that I use to write with broke years ago and I stopped updating daily.  Who knows I may come back to that.

Merry Christmas to all!!

Greetings in Jesus Name

Wow is one of the words that I can use to start this entry.  Glory to God is more.  Whoopee!

I actually have had to stop writing so much on this blog because of how busy I am with several projects at the church and ministry.  I just want to tell all of those who pray for us thank you for continuing to pray!!  May the God of Heaven bless you.

Currently we have been remodeling another staff house that our church bought last Tuesday.  We can see the end in sight.  Can you believe that I have not even taken one picture of it yet.  Theirs so much to do I don't even take the time.

We have painted, put in new windows, fixed bathrooms, replaced cabinets and currently I am making cabinets for part of the kitchen now.  I should have them finished today.

I am so thrilled this morning as I think about going to Bryant Pond Baptist Church.  My good friend Matt Jones is the pastor and I can't wait to be with his people.  What a thrill to go and preach missions.  This is my heart and if I had my way that's all I would ever preach about!  I love church planting and missions!  Well!  Tell Me!!

I do wish you would pray about God's will in regards to the plane ministry.  I have an opportunity to get into another high performance that will boost the speed of our missions and update the plane from a 1966 to a 1979.  I have slowly working toward this end for months and I sense this is how God is leading.  I would need to sell the plane that I have and fix the other engine up.  Of course this cost to the tune of around 30,000.  Please pray with me that our God would supply.  HE CAN!!!  God has used this ministry to start many works across this state and to also mentor many Men of God.  I want it to be in the best position to continue this work.  What a Joy!!!!  Glory!!!

We welcome two new staff members next week.  God is blessing and I love it!!!

Thank you to all my supporters that have helped me prayerfully and financially to allow us to continue to build and buy while I am still being supported by mission dollars.  This has freed up this local church so that we might be able to continue to be on the offensive!   Wow!

Speaking of offensive we are getting ready to break off 2 more lots and sell them.  These will go to the church also.  It's so exciting!  My fingers are shouting!

We received the house and 81 acres as a gift.  Our family immediately gave it back to The Lord and now we have been stewarding the process.  It's a joy to see how God's works.  May the God of Heaven continue to give it through us not just to us!  Come on !  Somebody say AMEN!!

I will write more as things happen and hopefully update you more on a regular basis!
