Greetings in Jesus Name

Wow, what a wonderful trip that we are having. The Lord is blessing everywhere we go. We started on yesterday morning at the state house in Providence R.I. There we unveiled a portrait of the great Baptist preacher John Clarke. You will see the portrait in the pictures but it does not do it justice. The artist took almost a year to paint this portrait. It was neat to be there with Bro. Jeff Faggart and all the 80 preachers from across America. The secretary of state of R.I. accepted the gift that will be on loan to them until the new building is built in Rockwell N.C. Also there to speak was the senate president of R.I. It was a very memorable occasion and one that will not be soon forgotten. Also I was able to see the original copy of the "lively experiment" that Mr. Clarke worked so hard to get. My we owe a debt to our Baptist forefathers that have plowed a way for us.

After R.I. we went to Tremont Temple in Boston and spent the rest of the day touring sites all over the city. Before we left Boston all 80 preachers stood in front of Quincys Market and sang to the top of our lungs. You talking about a blessing. People came out of the wood work and begin to clap after we sang. The Lord was glorified and we bless His Name for that!! I got in the bed around 12a.m. and was back at it around 6 this morning. Thank you for your prayers.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I get to see my family and that will be wonderful. Pray for us that God would bless us and give us traveling mercies along the way.

I'm looking forward to once again enjoying worship services at other locations. We have been having up to two of these a day and it's a real blessing. Glory to God and Lamb forever!!!!!

Words can hardly describe the things we saw yesterday. My oh my how the Lord blessed as we went all over New England. We were part of two worship services and God moved in power and Glory.

Thank you for your prayers. I am stirred and I continue to be daily burdened to start more churches and see souls saved all throughout this region.

God Bless each of you and continue to pray for us as we are on this trip. We are currently in Rhode Island and are looking forward to a great day today.

Greetings in Jesus Name

I wanted to get all of you some pictures but my computer is on the out right now. I am typing this on one of the hotels computer. I will try to have something for you by tomorrow.

The trip has been blessed of God already. My the power of God has come down on our meetings as we have prayed and had worship services at many of the sights of the great Baptist preachers of the past. Yesterday we were in Ct, Ma, and ended up in Vt. Everywhere we went we were reminded of the faithfulness of these Men of God that plowed a way through this wilderness to get the gospel to the people of this region.

I am so honored that God would call our family to this area to preach the gospel. What a privilege it is to serve Him. Bless the Lord oh my soul!!!!!!

Today will take us to many more sights. I do not know where we will be as Bro. Faggart never tells us. But this I know, it will be good. Pray that God would give us traveling mercies and that we would have a glorious time studying our history. I don't know how much of this I can take because I usually am a doer and I am taking in alot of information. It's not information overload yet but it is close.

God has entrusted me with the pioneer spirit and I can't wait to start many more churches in this region. It's in my heart and has been there since He called me to preach. I must go and tell others so they can know Christ and enjoy the peace of sins forgiven.

Greetings in Jesus Name

I got to my motel last night around 11:45 p.m. The Lord was gracious to give me traveling mercies. I praise Him for that.

Yesterday was a tremendous day in our church. I give God all the Glory for what He is doing in our assembly. We had visitors both services and an excellent spirit in the meetings.

The island ministry was a blessing yesterday also. We had 13 out for the service and the Lord moved there also through the singing and preaching.

I'm looking forward to a great week with Bro. Jeff Faggart and the Baptist Preservation society. Pray for me this week that I will be stirred to not just study the past but to make history in the present with many souls being saved and churches being started.

I praise the Lord today for Him saving me and calling me to Maine and this region to preach the gospel.

Praise the Lord for this day and what it represents in the life of the believer. "This is the day the Lord hath made we will rejoice and be glad in it." Every Sunday is resurrection Sunday for this is the day our Lord arose. I'm glad we serve a risen Saviour!! My day was blessed on yesterday with a golf tournament in the morning and then delivering the pulpit in the afternoon. After that I prepared myself for discipleship training with two families from Baldwin. The Lord blessed and He is to be praised for what He continues to do in all our lives. Our company left around 9 so it was a full day of ministry on yesterday. Pray for our services today that they will be blessed by the God of Heaven. We are praying for souls to be saved and the saints of God stirred and changed through the preaching meetings today. Pray also as we go northeast to the island this afternoon that our services will be blessed of God. To God be the Glory great things He has done!!! Pastor Todd Bell

Greetings in Jesus Name

The Lord has for sure blessed us these last few days. I am grateful for His traveling mercies that we experienced on Thursday night. My family and I were on our way to sing at a revival in Mass when we lost the rear end in the suburban. To God be the Glory no one was hurt and AAA bailed us out. We exchanged vans and then proceeded on our way. Their was 23 that went with us from the church. The service was excellent and the preaching was great with Bro. James Jones bringing the message. Afterwards we went to our favorite place to eat Kelly's Roast Beef!

My trip to Canada and back was blessed also on Thursday. As you deal with customs repeatedly it seems that is goes smoother. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve.

I enjoyed the day yesterday with my family and discipleship with the Fitzgerald's last night. What a joy to be able to share the truths of the Word of God with others and practically preach or teach every night of the week!!! Glory!!!!

Today my boy and I are playing in a golf tournament at our local course. We are looking forward to being a blessing and praying that we can have an impact on the peoples lives that we are around today.

This afternoon I hope to deliver the pulpit to Springfield Mass for Bro. Short.

Tonight we are excited to be teaching about the truths of discipleship to two families. Wow, what a day planned and to God be the Glory great things He has done!!!!!
A few pictures of our experience on the side of Interstate 95 waiting for the tow truck. Pray that God would provide the funds to repair the truck with 225,000 miles on it!!

Greetings in Jesus Name

I pray you are having a wonderful day. The Lord has been good to each of us and for that we are eternally grateful.

What a great service we had last night. Our church was privileged to have a missionary with us to Trinidad. His presentation was a blessing. I also preached last night about be Partners in the Ministry. The God of Heaven has really been using the book of Philippians in my life these last few weeks. I enjoying reading through the book a few times a day. I haven't heard from anyone yet, did you accept the challenge to read through it with me morning and evening?

The Lord blessed in going to Canada yesterday. I still find it hard to think about how fast everything is. I left Portland at nine and was back clearing customs at 12:15p.m. Wow, now that's fast travel. Looks like I am going to do it one more time today. Pray for our travels that God would be glorified as we fly and in all the people we meet. I desire to win souls and get out the gospel everywhere we go.

Other than all of that I spent the rest of the day studying and preparing for messages.

I thrilled about the opportunities that are available for service tonight. Our family is going to Lynn Massachusetts with several families from our church. We will be singing and helping out in the revival service there. There will be a group at the hanger also tonight working on airplanes. Pray that we have a wonderful time doing the work of the ministry.

I must deliver this pulpit tomorrow. Anybody want to fly down to Massachusetts with me?

I had a great day all day long yesterday. To God be the Glory great things He has done.

I put on a few pictures of our early morning time with a family from Massachusetts that visited us on Sunday night. We had wonderful fellowship together.

Our revival meeting in Augusta was wonderful last night. Praise the Lord for how He moved and helped us.

Pray for me today as we go to New Brunswick and back that we would have traveling mercies.

Greetings in Jesus Name I bless the Lord this morning for His salvation. I glad I know who Jesus is. So many in our country and around the world have never heard his name. Oh to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world before it is everylasting to late. Continue to pray for us as we reach souls in this area.

I had a good time yesterday catching up on chores around the house and trying to finish the pulpit for Bro. Dave Short. I should be done with it today or tommorow.

Cutting wood it always something I will be doing being that we heat our water and house with it. So I was busy doing that yesterday with Miss Eleanor helping out.

I got a chance to play a little golf with my boy and a few men from town. Praise the Lord for the good fellowship.

In the middle of the day I had to fly up and get my daughter who broke her wrist. She has a cast and will have it on now for up to six weeks. Praise the Lord she wasn't hurt worse.

Today I will going out early to breakfast with a family from Massachusetts and taking their kids on an airplane ride. Also I will be studying and visiting trying to lead others to Christ. Lord willing tonight we take a group to Church Hill Baptist to revival meeting. I'm looking forward to a wonderful time of preaching and signing. Thank you for your prayers and love for us!!

Greetings in Jesus Name

I pray you are having a wonderful Monday. I am eternally grateful to the God of Heaven for this another day to serve Him.

What a glorious time we had on yesterday. Both of our services at Calvary were packed and the Spirit of God moved in a glorious way. I so much appreciate the Lord doing a work in our services. The liberty of the Spirit of God was wonderful to experience as the Word was preached and the songs of zion sung. Bless the Lord oh my soul!!!!

The island ministry was blessed of God also on yesterday. The Spirit of God filled the services there on the island as Bro. Schoppes new living room was full of people. I flew up to Limington and picked up Alec Kindred and took him with us on the trip. It was a blessing to be able to train this young man on what missionary aviation is all about.

Thank you for your prayers for the services. We must do something about our space problem. It's obvious we need more room but are just being patient as we wait on the Lord and His direction in regards to another location. Keep that in your prayers.

Love you all.

Greetings in Jesus Name It's a beautiful day here in Southern Maine and I am grateful to the Lord for His blessing on our life and ministry. I was up around 5:30 and have had a wonderful time reading the Word of God. Our institute is currently studying the book of Phillipians so I enjoyed reading it through twice this morning.

We had a great day on yesterday on the island helping the Schoppe's move. Hopefully you will be able to get the video and see just a glimpse of our day on yesterday. We are looking forward to having church in the new house the Lord has provided on this Sunday.

Last night a family in our church took us out to eat. That was very kind and we enjoyed the fellowship.

Today I will be studying and visiting, maybe get a motorcycle ride and golf to. I will see how everything works out. Further I will be replacing a door on a rental cottage up the road to. No problem with finding things to do I just want to make for sure I'm doing my best for the Lord!

April 23, 2009 5:46 a.m.

Greetings in Jesus Name

I Had a wonderful day on yesterday working around the farm, visiting, working at the hanger, cleaning things up, and studying for the message last night. It's so wonderful to be in the center of God's will and see Him at work.

I'm looking forward today to putting up the Logo sign (it's 5 feet around) at the hanger. It will be put on the peak of the building up about 25 feet. One of the men of the church is going to help me. I have been waiting for this for sometime so it will be nice to have it up.

Also today I will have a discipleship session with two families from our church. I'm looking forward to teaching those couples. May the God of Heaven continue to raise up couples that are devoted followers of Christ.

I want to thank each of you for your love and concern for our ministry here. I will have a video and pictures this afternoon for all to see what we did today.

Greetings in Jesus Name

It's a foggy 48 degrees and has been since 12 p.m. on yesterday. Living this close to the coast affords us the opportunity to be this foggy many spring days. I praise the Lord for Him being in control of the weather. He knows what we need when we need it. And the same is true about the climate in our spiritual life. I just read through the book of Philippians and it clearly teaches us that the Lord knows what we need to make us the best we can be for Him. Do you want to join with our Bible Institute this week in reading through Philippians in the morning and evening? Let me know, we would love to have you along.

My day yesterday was blessed with studying, visiting, and woodworking. It is a consistent witness that seems to touch people's lives and ultimately see them saved. I am praying for so many people in our area to come to Christ. Pray with me that we could see a harvest of souls in the greater Sanford area.

Today I will be doing much of the same. This is the work of the ministry and it's what my life is all about. Making sure I am feeding the sheep God has given to me and winning others to Christ.

Please pray that our service tonight will be blessed of God with His power and glory. I love Wednesday night meetings and I am expecting our God to manifest Himself in a glorious way. Can't wait!!!!!

Greetings in Jesus Name

The Lord has sent us showers of blessings this morning. I praise Him for His goodness and grace and thank Him for the shed blood of Calvary that washes our sins away. There is a fountain filled with Blood and it's never lost it's power. To many Christians stay away from this fountain and live defeated lives. May God help us to see the vital importance of walking in continual fellowship with our Saviour.

I got alot of things accomplished on yesterday around the farm. Also I was able to go and look at the property that Westbrook Baptist bought. I rejoice with them to see how God is continuing to move and bless them. Pray much for this church and their pastor Bro. Stoeber as they continue on there in Westbrook Maine.

I'm looking forward to a full day of ministry and Bible Institute tonight. It's a great honor to be entrusted with the gospel. Pray much that I would run well as we serve our Lord here on this mission field.

Greetings in Jesus Name

For all of you that keep up with our daily life heres an update about our day on yesterday. The Lord blessed in a wonderful way all day long. The Sunday school hour was great with Bro. Dave teaching. The morning service was exceptional with the Spirit of God moving in a glorious way. The chapel was comfortably full for which I praise the Lord. People were sensitive during the altar call with many coming forward to do business with God.

The flight to the island was without incident on yesterday afternoon. I mentioned to someone that I don't remember when the air was smooth. But it's the Lord that controls that and He's doing a wonderful job. The service there was also blessed of God with Bro. Bill doing a great job leading the service. I preached on one of my favorite subjects in the Word of God and that being faith. After the service we went and looked at the house that God has provided for the Schoppes. I praise the Lord for His watch care and what a blessing it is to see Him at work there on the island.

The service last night was indeed blessed again with the manifest presence of our God in the singing and preaching. After the service we went to Shains Ice Cream as a church and had a wonderful evening of fellowship together.

I am so glad that God has given us an old fashioned church here in Sanford. What a blessing it is to be a part of what He is doing in this city and the surrounding area. Please continue to pray that God would move in power and glory in our midst.

Greetings in the Name that is above all Names the Name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST!

The Lord has indeed blessed these last several days. What a joy it has been to be a part of the revival over in New York. We closed out Friday night and the service once again was blessed by the presence of God. I flew back home and got in around 11:30 p.m.

Last night was an exciting youth meeting here at Calvary Baptist Church! Our young people won the quiz bowl again. Congratulations goes out to Ben Johnson and Michaila Blaisdell for a tremendous job. All the kids knew the material but some kids are just quicker on their feet.

I'm looking forward to a glorious day of service. What honor to be able to serve the King! Pray that souls will be saved and the saints of God stirred through the meetings today.

Greetings in Jesus Name

I have had a wonderful morning thus far today. I praise God for a good nights sleep and the blessings of the Lord on this meeting. I was able to go out early today and take a two hour walk. What a wonderful time to pray and seek the God of Heaven.

The meeting last night was wonderful with great liberty in preaching the Word of God. The pastor and family have been very hospitable and the fellowship has been tremendous. I appreciate the sensitivity in the altar call last night as the altars were full with the saints of God praying for revival.

Last nights message was on Brokenness out of Psalms 51. I believe that brokenness is one of the great prerequisites to revival. Pray with me that this last night will be blessed of God with His power and glory on the meeting.

Lord willing I will fly home tonight after the meeting. Pray that I will have traveling mercies and I will be well rested for the trip.

Have a glorious day.

I have had a wonderful day of study and preparation for the evening meeting. I thank God for the oppurtunity to preach here in New York.

The meeting last night was very good. The Lord granted liberty to preach the Word of God. The altar call was good and the spirit in the meeting was wonderful. Continue to pray that God would grant revival in this area.

My traveling went wonderful yesterday with the flight being about one hour and a half. Thats better than a six and half hour drive. I landed at a little grass strip on the outskirts of town.

I will update more later.

I had a great day on yesteday of studying for the Bible Institute. I studied the first two chapters last night and boy oh boy are they rich with jewels and nuggets to encourage you. We will continue our study there next Tuesday the good Lord willing.

Today I'm excited about flying over to Syracuse N.Y. to start a revival meeting. Pray for me that God would give traveling mercies and the revival would be blessed of God. I'm looking forward to a powerful rest of the week.

As you pray for us lets pray toward an important meeting next Thursday night with the Methodist people at Shaws Ridge United Methodist Church. We are asking you to pray God's will be done. We would love the oppurtunity to purchase this campus so we could continue to grow but God knows. We are trusting Him to work out all the details.

The ladies have a meeting tommorow night here at the house. This always proves to be a great time for the ladies. Come expecting to get your buckets full and running over with the blessings of God.

On Saturday night we will have our Saturday night jubilee! We are looking forward to Bro. Brian Wilkins preaching the Word of God and having an old fashioned time together. Pray for this meeting to be a huge success.

My boy and I was able to go golfing yesterday afternoon. I appreciate that time we had together on the course.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful day of study and visiting today. Our Bible institute is tonight and we will be studying through the book of Ephesians. It's very exciting to see the truths of the Word of God in this book.

I will be away fromt the computer some at the end of the week as I go down to Syracuse New York to preach a revival. Pray that the God of Heaven moves in power and glory through these meetings.

The sun rising at our Sunday Morning sunrise service
The dynamic duo taring the roof

Do I have to go to sunrise service?

April 13, 2009 6:02 a.m.

Greetings in Jesus Name

I am rejoicing in God's goodness and grace this morning as I type this out. What a wonderful day on yesterday that we had. It all started around 4a.m. and we got up and ready for over 50 people to come to our sunrise service. Our missionary Bro. Northcutt did an excellent job of challenging the people from 1 Corinthians 15. My wife was such a blessing in cooking breakfast for all of us. Praise the Lord for this good time.

The morning service was special with a church full of people. The Spirit of God moved in a glorious way as the Gospel was preached. I chose Acts 13 as a text and preached on The Message of the Messengers! I praise the Lord for all He did in and through the service.

We flew up to Islesboro in the afternoon for the 2 o'clock service there at the Island Baptist Church. Once again we had a glorious service with wonderful singing and another message from the Word of God. The ride up and back was not so glorious but the Lord saw us through (moderate to severe turbulence all the way there and back).

The service last night was special with great singing and multimedia presentation from Bro. Northcutt. He also preached the Word of God and did a fine job. At the conclusion of the service our church agreed to take him and Bro. Hitz on for 75 dollars a month as missionaries. What a blessing it is to add two more missionaries to our church family.

Pray for me today as I go back on the lift and finish spreading tar on my roof. Lord willing I will be done today.

I pray you have had a good nights sleep and are ready to worship our Living Christ today. What a wonderful truth it is to know that Jesus Christ is alive and He is alive forever more. Oh Bless His Name this morning!!!!!

Were looking forward to having around 50 people here for the sunrise service this morning. After that my wife is going to feed everybody. Her and Miss Eleanor fried all the bacon and sausage yesterday so today she will bake all the casseroles. It will be a wonderful morning as we worship the king.

My day was blessed on yesterday as I studied and visited in the morning. The after noon was spent 30 feet up in the air taring the roof. I praise the Lord for the strength He gave me to accomplish this. Lord willing I will be done on Monday.

I'm looking forward to a great morning of preaching and afternoon. Pray for traveling mercies as we go and preach on the island also. We have a missionary with us today and he will be presenting tonight and preaching. I sense it's going to be a great day.

Keep praying for us. We are very dependant on it to see us through.

I have already had wonderful morning reading the Word of God and enjoying all the hustle and bustle around the house. We have a couple of extra teenagers here. Our young people went to a youth rally last night and today they are going to a leadership training down in Mass.

I am thrilled to my toes about the day tomorrow. May God grant power and glory as we serve Him. Pray much that souls will be saved and the saints of God encouraged through the services.

Yesterday was a great day of work around the farm. I reserved a lift to help with roof repairs and they rented it out before I got there. Soooooooo I went to plan B. It worked out wonderful with Ben, Alec, Bill, and myself working tirelessly to build a five foot rock wall and fix the spot in front of the wood boiler. My arms are tired this morning from lifting all the rocks. Praise God it's all done and ready to be used to help us save some money here at the farm.

Pray that God would use me today to lead someone to Christ as I visit and work for HIM!

Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Note with me this morning several truths from this precious text in the Word of God!

First of all I see the calling of the twelve. As the LORD called these men so to HE is still calling forth men and woman today to serve HIM. Are we listening for the call or have we silenced the ringer. On the cell phones that most of use today we are able to do that but it's not recommended with the LORD. Let each of us be listening for the call of God. Has HE asked us to do things for HIM? He could do them himself but HE desires for us as HIS people to go forth with the gospel message and tell sinners far and wide Jesus Saves, Jesus Saves.

Second we note that he called twelve. We do know from other passages that he called more than these but he did call these twelve. What an honor to be chose by the King of Kings to represent HIM here on earth. Are you one of the twelve today? I remember the day that I was converted and I remember the day I was called. How exciting it is to serve!

Third we notice that HE gave them power. This tells us alot but one of things it says is that they needed power. Why would he give them something that they did not need. Just as they needed power to accomplish the Work of God so to we need the same power. The supernatural power that they were entrusted with is the same power that we must have to see the Work of God accomplished. May the God of Heaven consider us as candidates and entrust each of us with that wonder working power to do the Work of God!

Those that have heard the voice of GOD have been converted, called, and commissioned. May we be faithful to live out these truths in the place where HE has put us.

On a side note, I did have a good day on yesterday working around the house. I finally made it in at dark around 8 p.m. I got alot done but still have alot more to do for spring clean up.

Tonight we have discipleship with a family in our church. We are praying that HE will move in power and glory as we study the scriptures together.

Also I will be visiting and sharing the gospel as I try to do daily everywhere I go. Please pray for me that I will be effective and souls will be added to this work.

I pray each of you are having a wonderful day in the LORD!

Yesterday was a tremendous day in our life. I praise God for the study time that HE gave me in preparation for the evening message. You are welcome to go to our website and listen to the message, "We are in the Majority."

Also on yesterday I flew up to Augusta and met with Pastor Wiley for some fellowship and encouragement. I praise God for this Man of God and the work he is doing.

From there I flew to Waterville to pick up a friend and bring him back to Sanford. We had a good time together.

Today I plan on working around the farm all day long. When springtime comes their is lots of work that must be done because in the winter everything is covered with snow. This is long job that requires alot of physical labor. I have a couple days of the week that I try to catch up on this and it seems like its never enough.

Thank you for your prayers for our ministry. We for sure need them and will not be able to make it without you and the LORD working together in our lives.

What a great day I had on yesterday. Most of the day was spent studying and preparing for Bible Institute as we surveyed the book of Galatians. Their was eight people out last night studying together these wonderful truths. I thank God for these men and woman and what a blessed time we had together.

Also on yesterday I took a break and went and cleaned a little at the airport. I found where we had a leak in the roof and I expect to fix that today.

Tonight is always a thrill as we think about the opportunity of having service. I don't know what I would do if we didn't have these Wednesday meetings. I praise God for the services on Wednesday nights that seem to put a little power boost in our batteries. Pray that the God of Heaven would move in power and glory as I preach the Word. Our choir will also be readying ourselves for a special song on Resurrection Sunday.

The hour is late the need is great win the lost at any cost.

I have been wicked busy the last several days and not able to update what all God has been doing but I will attempt today.

Our company arrived from N.C. and we had special fellowship the whole weekend. I praise God for the Smith's and the blessing they were to our family and the couples retreat.

The couples retreat was a huge success once again. I thank God for all the couples that got to go. The preaching was wonderful and the fellowship was very encouraging with other families from churches of like faith and practice. I'm already looking forward to next year.

I came home and Saturday and flew the Cherokee Six. It's back up and flying now after the magneto issues. Praise the LORD for HIS goodness.

Our services on Sunday were blessed by the power of God. On Sunday morning Pastor Steve Smith preached and did a wonderful job on the "The LORD hath need of him." Then Sunday afternoon the LORD gave us a good service on the island of Islesboro. Pray much for this work that we can see somebody saved soon and added to the church. Sunday night we had all the preacher boys preach and singers sing. It was a great time with an ice cream social afterwards.

On yesterday I went and preached in Southington CT. Bro. Dave Blaisdell drove me there and back and we had a wonderful time. I thank God for the opportunity to preach the Word of God and share our burden. It was a great day!

I'm excited about this day to study, visit, and work around the house. I need to get done with a pulpit I'm making for a friend. Also I will be studying for our institute tonight. Tonight we will be studying the book of Galatians so come having read the whole book.

I pray the God of Heaven continues to bless you and use us all for His Glory and Honor!

What a wonderful day the LORD has blessed us with to serve Him!! Of course we know that everyday is a wonderful day to serve and I do praise Him for the privilege to do just that.

I got alot done yesterday at the airport with the harnesses on the Cherokee six. After putting them on I found out I still had the same problem so off came the left magneto. Hopefully we will have that back on today and it should be up and running good.

Last nights service was spectacular. God moved in power and great glory as I shared that the LORD is desirous of his people to set forward with the Work of God. The components that are involved in this are work, worship, and warfare. Wew we!!!!!!! Now Brothers and Sisters that will preach. I am so grateful that the Holy Spirit granted liberty to be able to share these truths. Please continue to pray for us as we seek God's will about moving forward. Pray that God's will be done about the Methodist church that we are praying about purchasing.

The Smiths from North Carolina arrived last night and we fellowshipped till almost midnight. It was wonderful and I praise God for this good family that is here to preach our couples retreat this weekend. Pray that the LORD will bless us with tremendous services.

I'm looking forward to a great day of service and discipleship tonight with a family in our church. Glory to God and Lamb for all HE continues to do!!!

Greetings in Jesus Name

What a wonderful Wednesday the LORD has blessed us with. I have enjoyed this morning reading the book of Galatians. I am so grateful that I have placed my faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and I know I'm on my way to heaven. Glory to God and Lamb forever!!!

My day was blessed on yesterday. I had the joy of serving the God of Heaven in several different capacities. "And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you" the writer told the Corinthian church. I happen to feel the same way. I spent most of the day studying for Bible Institute and also working at the hanger. The LORD be praised for what HE continues to do.

In our Bible institute we are studying this week in Galatians. Read with us if you like as we daily read through the book and survey the wonderful truths found therein.

Today will be filled with work at the airport, studying for tonight, visiting and soul winning, and maybe a meeting in Auburn Maine and possibly Augusta. Pray much for our services that the Spirit of God would grant liberty and we would be able to go to meeting. I'm already looking forward to it with great anticipation.

On a side note, I'm working on a day and a half with my wood boiler since being filled. I am very satisfied with how it is working. It's keeping our house toasty and in turn heating all of our water that we use. Praise the LORD for this wise investment.

Oh yeah, pray much for Wings as Eagles ministry as they are going to have to replace one of their engines on the piper chieftain at the tune of 35,000 dollars. Pray all the monies come in for it.

Love all of you.

Greetings in Jesus Name

I pray you are having a wonderful day in the LORD. Our day started bright and early this morning around 5:30. It's always a thrill to be able to roll out of the bed and give God the Praise and the Glory for how good HE has been. Have you done that today? We all must stop our whining and complaining and murmuring and give Him praise. Guard against this spirit of complaining if your life and fight it with continual praise. Your be a better person and your life will continue to count for Christ!!

Yesterday was filled with blessings all day as I worked on a pulpit for Pastor Short in Massachusetts. The good Lord willing I will deliver it this week. I am making it out of solid oak lumber so it is taking a little longer but it will be nice when I get done. I will be sure to take some pictures so all of you can see them.

We invited the Kindreds over last night and had a wonderful time of fellowship together. I thank God for this family and the good work they are doing in North Baldwin Maine. Continue to pray for them that God would bless the work there and souls would be saved and the saints of God encouraged in the LORD!!

Today I will be studying for Bible Institute (already been busy reading all of 2 Corinthians this morning) working on an airplane, the pulpit, counseling, visiting, being a dad, and husband and a few other things. No worries with something to do. Praise God for the privilege to serve HIM!! Well Glory!!!!!

As you pray remember our missionaries in the Ukraine the Isbells. Pray that God would bless them and continue to use them for HIS Glory!!

Greetings on this Marvelous Monday

I just wanted to share a brief update on what our God has been doing in our lives these last few days. On Friday I got to go golfing with my boy in New Hampshire. That was fun to finally be able to get out and enjoy the good weather with the snow melting away. Just on a side note, I beat him!!

Also on Friday we had discipleship training at our house with a family from our church. That went very well with Bro. Jeff Faggart from the Baptist History Preservation Society with us to. We ended up having a worship service and God blessed and helped us.

My day Saturday was spent in study, prayer and visiting. It is always good to be alone with the LORD and hear his voice as I prepare for Sunday.

Sunday will stand for some time as a big day for our church. After the morning service I baptized 10 people. On Sunday night we accepted 14 more people into membership of our church. That's on top of the 5 that joined Wednesday night. What a great day and to top it off we had the Lord's Supper on Sunday night. All the day the annointing of God was strong and the LORD moved in a powerful way.

I'm looking forward to a great week in the LORD. What an honor to be entrusted with the gospel. I am so grateful to my God that He lets me serve Him. Pray fervently for us this week that we would be able to see more saved and lives changed as we serve the God of Heaven.

Good Morning and Greetings in the Wonderful Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!!

I had a great day on yesterday studying for the message last night. What a blessing it was to preach to the people of God. Our services were full and the LORD encouraged us to be diligent in all that we do. I bless His name for His faithfulness.

I finished up a major installation of the wood boiler also. Now 75 % of the house is on line with the outside wood boiler.

Bro. Don is doing a wonderful job at the airport with all the maintenance. It's such a blessing to have someone there to keep up with everything when it tears up.

Pray much today as I go and mentor the Schoppes. Pray that the LORD will teach all of us the truths of the Word of God together.

Thanks again for your prayers and concern for the ministry God has called us to.

Greetings in Jesus Name!!!

I pray you are having a good morning thus far. Boy oh boy did I sleep good last night. I am so grateful to that and I bless the LORD that HE giveth his beloved sleep as the scriptures declares.

I had a great day on yesterday. Started out early in my study preparing for Bible Institute. What a blessing it was to go and teach last night on the Comforting Ministry of our God. The LORD met with us and helped us immensely.

I went to the hanger and helped Bro. Don out for a few hours. I was able to put the right side of the airplane back together. Lord willing I'll go back down today and do a little more.

Bro. Ron came over and helped me with the heat again. I hoping that today we will have 75% of the house totally on the outside wood boiler. It's doing good keeping up with everything. It's a blessing to only have to load it once a day thus far. I believe if I had the proper length of wood I could make it two days.

Today I am excited and have already been studying for the message tonight. I'm so thrilled about being able to help God's people. What a joy and delight it is to be entrusted with the glorious gospel.

Keep praying for us. I do covet all of your prayers.

Greetings in Jesus Name

It's been a few days since I updated everyone. The LORD has blessed in a wonderful way these last several days.

Finally on Saturday we got our outside wood boiler up and running and it is doing great. No more oil for us as we are heating our hot water and house totally with wood.

The youth meeting on Saturday night was a huge success. We had close to 100 there with a great spirit in the meeting. The message was powerful as Bro. Ness just let er rip from the blessed Word of God. The altar call was good and the fellowship afterwards was very tasty (taco salad).

On Sunday the LORD spoke to me about the thought of laziness. I preached on it all day long here in Sanford and also on the island of Islesboro. I am so grateful to our God for how HE moved all throughout this day. It never ceases to amaze me how HE helps me and gives me strength to keep a very tight schedule. Well, praise the LORD!!!!! Hallelujah to the Lamb!!!!!! Someone hold my mules while I shout a while!!!

Yesterday I worked 13 hours replacing our windows in the old farm house. I have two left and should get to them this week sometime. I was thrilled to be able to get six in on yesterday.

I'm looking forward to a great day of study and preparation for Bible Institute tonight. I plan also to work at the airport some helping Bro. Don. Ron is going to come over today and install some heat in our kitchen to. Busy day planned for the MASTER!

The video is extra, I won't charge you for it. I thought you would like to see some of the sights we saw on last Friday as my family flew down to New York City for a family day.

God Bless each of you and thank you for your prayers for my family.

Greetings

I had a great day on yesterday with my family and out visiting. The LORD be praised for all HE is doing in and through our lives here in Sanford.

Last night was special as we drove down to Lynn, Ma to preach at New Hope Baptist Church. The LORD granted liberty and power to be able to communicate the truth "Let us not be weary"! What a great time we all had as we fellowshipped together around the Gospel of Christ. I might as well admit it, we did get over to Kelley's Roast Beef and have a little snack. That's one of our favorite places to eat when we go down to Ma.

Today Lord willing our family is going down to New York City to spend the day looking around and having some family time together. Pray much for us that we would have safety everywhere we go and be a witness for our LORD!

Tonight were looking forward to discipleship with a family in our church. I pray the LORD helps us as we teach this family the truths of the Word of God!

I thank God for each of you!

Good Morning

We had a great day all day long yesterday at Calvary Baptist Church. The LORD moved in a special way in all of our services. It's so wonderful to have an old fashioned church in 2009. I thank God for the privilage to pastor these people. Last night was a special service with some extra singing and testimonies. Our church also helped Bro. Don with his clutch issues with a 1,000 dollar gift.

Our services on Islesboro were also blessed yesterday. Josh and I flew up there in the C150. I thank God for Pastor George Barbour that has allowed us to use his little plane. I have flown it six hours this last week and it has come in very handy. The Schoppe family are doing great and covet the prayers of His people all around the world as they minister on this island in Maine.

I'm looking forward to a great week of ministry here in the Northeast. Pray with me that we can see more people saved and churches stated for the Glory of God!!

Thank you for your prayers.

I praise God for the good day that HE gave me on yesterday. I got some supplies I needed to wire some things on the wood boiler early in the morning. The LORD be praised for the oppurtunity to preach the Word of God and Pastor people.

Last night I had a time of discipleship with another family in the church and that turned out real well. What a blessing it is to teach the Holy Scriptures and share with others what we have been entrusted with.

Wednesday night proved to be a great time at the hanger with some 18 people showing up and helping out. I have enclosed some of those for all of you to look at.

Greetings in the Name that is above all Names the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ!!

Yesterday was a tremendous day of ministry here in Sanford Maine. I enjoyed studying and preparing for the evening message. The LORD really spoke to me early in the day and said keep it simple and preach on ME! I said yes sir, what text would you like for me to use? The Spirit of God burdened me for Hebrews 12 so that's where I spent the day studying and praying. The LORD be praised for the meeting we had. At the invitation time we had a lady walk the aisle and trust Christ as her Saviour!! Whoopee, Glory to God, Amen and Amen!!!! I give God the Glory for answered prayer.

Also on yesterday I was able to help my friend and plumber Bro. Ron put in my wood boiler. Lord willing that will be up and running before the end of the week. I enjoy working with my hands and seeing things come together.

I closed out my day yesterday with an Aiport Advisory Committee meeting that lasted until 9:30p.m. That was enjoyable putting my civic duty in and getting to hang around some people that are passionate about aviation.

I'm still praising God for the good day and the victory of seeing someone else saved on last night. On top of that we had a large crowd probally in the seventies there for the service. I'm praying that the God of Heaven will continue to move in power and glory as we serve HIM!

Keep praying for me. I covet your prayers.

A Day in Barters Island Maine

March 10, 2009 5:49 a.m.

Good Morning World!

Setting our Face like a Flint

In Isaiah 50:7 the Bible declares, “For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed”. This passage is a prophecy referring to the Lord Jesus Christ. The verses associated with this verse speak of His death on the cross of Calvary for our sins. As He was walking up Calvary’s hill to shed His precious blood, the Bible declares, “I have set my face like a flint.” As a result of this, He followed through with the eternal plan to pay the price for the sins of the whole world that day. I believe He set His face like a flint because He knew that He alone could pay the price of redemption. No one else was fit to do such a task. It was His Blood and His Blood alone that had to be shed. The blood of bulls and goats that had been shed down through the annals of time could never satisfy the righteous demands of a Holy God. It took the Blood of God to pay the price. Further, I believe He set His face like a flint because He saw you and me. He saw those that would one day repent of their sins and turn to Him in faith trusting Him and Him alone to save them from their sins. He did not turn back. He followed through with the plan of God.

I don’t know who I may be talking to today but, I feel that there is someone out there who is thinking of turning back on our Lord. He didn’t turn back, why should you? Can we not learn from this passage of Scripture that we need to set our face like a flint. We need to be determined that we are going to follow through with God’s plan for our life like our Lord did. We will be rewarded with a multitude of souls that have been rescued from the perishing. Our faithful service will pay off with many that have been ministered unto. Let us all today set our face like a flint and stick to the task to which He has called us. May the God of Heaven bless these words to each of our hearts.

Pray much for me today as I do some research about a new church plant. Tonight everyone is invited to come to the hanger for a potluck and work party on the piper warrior. Should be an exciting evening!!

Please Pray for Me! If only you knew how much I covet your prayers.

Greetings in Jesus Name

Today we welcome the winter weather back. The spring time weather has been a blessing over the last few days. The weather people are calling for up to four inches of snow. Well, praise the LORD anyway!!!

Yesterday was a tremendous day at our church. God blessed in a great way with a good crowd and good services. The chapel was pleasantly full and the spirit in the meeting was right up there. I appreciate the LORD filling me and helping me to preach the Word of God. I still have to pinch myself periodically to think that God would call me to preach the Word of God. What a privilage it is to be entrusted with the Gospel of Christ.

I looking forward to a good week of ministry here in the Northeast. I will be working to finish Bro. Dave Short's pulpit some today. Also Mrs. Amy and I will be doing some soul winning this week during the days. It's exciting to anticipate what the LORD is going to do.

As you pray think about a little church up on Barters Island Maine. They need a pastor to go and help them stay up and going. So much to and so few to do it. God has a man.

Talk to you some more on tommorow.

Pray much for me today as I study and prepare for the day tommorow. Also we are going out soul winning at 10 o'clock this morning. We are asking God to give us some souls and that He will continue to add to our church. What a thrill it is to be entrusted with the Gospel of Christ. What a message to share with the lost and dying world.

This afternoon we have a piano recital at our church. That will be a fun time together seeing what the kids have learned over the last year.

If I have any extra time I will continue to work on Bro. Dave Short's pulpit. I got alot done on it yesterday and worked on it all the way up to 9 o'clock last night.

Continue to pray for my big kids as they are sick again. Pray God would heal them.

Have a glorious day.

A Good Morning to All

We had a wonderful service on Wednesday night as I finished up a series on Revival in the Home. When our homes are filled to overflowing with the fulness of the Spirit of God it spills over into our churches and we experience revival. I am continuing to pray that God would raise up strong families in our church here in Sanford Maine. God is doing it and for that I am very grateful.

Yesterday was a great day of studying, visiting, mentoring, and discipleship. I was able to spend some time with a young man named Alec Kindred who is praying about missionary aviation and church planting. It was a blessing to be able to fly with him and spend some time together in testimony and prayer. Please be in prayer for him that God would show him clearly what His will is for him.

Discipleship was a blessing last night as I taught to a couple on employer, employee relationships. We spend about a quarter of our time on the job and would behoove us to be our best for the LORD when we are at our job places. I continue to marvel at how God is maturing those that are involved in discipleship. It is the joy of my life to see them grow in the grace and knowledge of the LORD!!

The weather here today is a warm 34 and tomorrow it's suppose to be 49. Praise God for His blessings. I'm glad I'm saved, sealed, stablished, and satisfied in Jesus. Can somebody say Amen!!!!!

Thank you for your prayers and love for us as we minister here in this region.

We by the good Grace of God are going to continue to make in roads with the gospel into each and every town we can. Pray much for us and with us as we reach our next towns for Christ.

I also had some good visits on yesterday. Soul winning is something that the Christian should be involved in daily. Everywhere we go we should tell someone of Jesus and His love. May the LORD help us to win more souls.

I must be off and running. I have to drive the kids today to school and I think I will stay for chapel and hear the kids sing and Bro. Wilkons preach.

Love each of you.

A Good Day to All

I had a tremendous day on yesterday. I appreciate the LORD having mercy on me physically. I finally am beginning to feel a touch better. I spent most of the morning with my family enjoying their fellowship here at home. It was snowing hard most of the day with a storm total of over a foot of snow.

My afternoon was spent at the hanger beginning to open up the Cherokee Six for the annual inspection. After getting that done it took Benjamin and I about two hours to get all the snow cleared up off of all the driveways and sidewalks. I still need to do the church but will get to that today sometime.

Mrs. Amy and I were able to go out on a date and spend some quality time together. I'm continually thrilled that God would call our family to this town to win souls. Pray fervently for us today as we go visiting that we would be able to reach more souls and see great things accomplished for God's Glory here in this region.

I'll update you on tomorrow to let you know how this day turned out.

Good Morning to all from a very snowy Sanford Maine. The visibility is currently a quarter of mile or less with heavy snow. We already have over eight inches and are expecting up to 15 inches today. It's beautiful to behold. What a mighty God we serve.

Our day yesterday was filled with blessing. God overruled as HE always does with the sickness that I have been going through. HE was so gracious to help us preach with Power and Glory and to HIM be all praise. In the flesh I did not feel well but through the filling of the Holy Spirit I was able to communicate the scriptures. The church house was almost filled to capacity on yesterday. Pray much that God would show us whats next in regards to the Methodist church that we are praying about.

I'm looking forward to helping Don today with the annual on the Cherokee Six. Pray much for us that it would be completed in a timely manner and we would be able to fix all the squawks.

I sense this is going to be a wonderful week as every week is. Continue to pray that we can win more souls and see great things accomplished for God's Glory.

Good Morning to all

I pray you are having a great day. I appreciate the LORD blessing me these last several days as I have been away from my computer. This week has been a different one with all the sickness that our area has been experiencing. The Flu has set in and it seems like everybody in our church has had it. After the flu comes this horrible sinus infection and for some has resulted in pneumonia! Yikes, this is some ugly. God's grace has been sufficient for each of us and for that I praise HIS NAME!

Share a thon 2009 was a great blessing to be at. The preaching was powerful, the singing was great, and the fellowship was wonderful. I was excited to be given the opportunity to preach the Word of God on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The LORD filled me and helped me. Oh how I love HIM and praise HIM for HIS abundant blessings.

Continue to pray for me as I have had a terrible allergic reaction to the antibiotic that the Doc put me on. I am currently on predisone and will see the Doc on Monday. The LORD makes no mistakes and I am trusting HIM through this.

I'm looking forward to great family seminar on today at North Baldwin Baptist Church. Pray that God uses me to challenge families in that area and pray that souls will be saved.

I'll catch up a little more in the days to come.

Chapel Service in Lisbon Maine Feburary 19, 2009 Update

Greetings in Jesus Name

I sure have enjoyed all that God is continuing to do in our midst here in Sanford Maine. All Glory to Him for His faithfulness in all areas.

Our services last night were blessed of God as I spoke on Personal Revival out of Matthew 7. I appreciate the Spirit of God filling me to be able to preach. Their would be no preaching was it not for the fullness of the Holy Spirit. This preacher is aware of that each and every time I go to the pulpit. Continue to pray for us as we reach others with the gospel here in Sanford and this region.

The video is a recent trip I went on with one of our missionaries. It's not a mistake that you hear music in the background. This missionary must keep under the radar in what he says in his testimony. I was able to fly him up to a meeting and be part of a Christian school chapel. It was a blessing and I appreciate the LORD allowing us to have a part.

I thank God for each of you and your prayers and support for our ministry here.

Greetings in Jesus Name

The LORD has blessed us with a great week here on the mission field of Maine. I have had a great time doing the work of the ministry. Most of my days are field with time alone with the God of Heaven in prayer and study in the mornings and then visiting through out the day. It's such a blessing to be able to share the gospel with people. Almost weekly we find that we share the gospel with people and it's the first time they have ever heard. This is a blessing to be entrusted with so great a message that can transform their lives. Pray much that the seed of the Word of God would find a lodging place in their hearts and they would get saved.
Our services on Wednesday were blessed of God. The Spirit of God filled me to be able to deliver my heart and soul to the people about revival in the home. What a great time of learning that we had together. I am continuing to pray that God would give us strong homes that can make a difference in our church and community.
Last night I preached in Georgetown MA at a fellowship meeting of several churches in the area. Once again the LORD was gracious and helped us to deliver the message of the gospel. What a thrill it is to be able to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ!!
I'm preparing now to go to Sratton Maine and preach tonight and tomorrow morning. I am expecting my God to move in power and glory in the meetings. Pray much that HE will use me in a special way.
I am grateful for each of you that follow what God is doing here and pray for me. I do not take any of it for granted and know that at the judgement seat you will be rewarded accordingly by our God.

Good Morning to each and everyone of you. The LORD has blessed us with a good nights sleep and our family is looking forward to going to the House of God and worshiping Him this morning. What a joy and delight it is to enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. I'm excited to see what God is going to do today. I believe lives will be touched by the power of the Holy Ghost as the Word of God is preached. He's worthy of our praise!!

I have continued to stay very busy in the work of the ministry. It is such a delight to share the gospel with people. It is a constant work that we are involved in. I'm glad God called us to the frozen north to reach Mainers with the Gospel. What an honor to be used of Him!

I'm looking forward to baptizing around 10 or more people soon. Now that's going to be a thrill for our church. I wish you were all here to witness this.

Have you ever noticed how it doesn't do you any good to complain. Further when you study the Word of God you find that God doesn't have anything good to say about complaining. We are positive in our walk with God because He is so good all the time. Why not just pause where your at and throw both hands in the air and praise Him. The Bible declares we are to lift our hands unto the Lord. That's not a suggestion that's a command. God people should not be addicted to cigarette's and alcohol, t.v., or the Internet we should be addicted to praise!!! Amen and Amen!!
We should walk around saying I must praise Him because He is worthy. Oh thank you Jesus for all you have done for me!!! I think you see the picture. May the LORD help us to be faithful in this area.

I'm still excited about the meeting with the Methodist on Thursday night. This is an effectual open door that the LORD has put before us. Continue to pray the God's will be done. You talking about stirring you up. I am thrilled to the bone. Whoopee!!!!!!!! Glory!!!!!!!!!! Did I hear someone say Amen!!!!!

I love each of you.

Good Morning to each of you. It's currently -14 outside but absolutely beautiful as I look out the window at God's wonderful creation. I lift up my hands in praise to Him this morning for His goodness and grace.

The last several days have been jam packed with activities. The first part of this week has been spent at a revival meeting at Standish Baptist Church. The Lord indeed blessed at these meetings. I am so grateful that God has blessed us with such a wonderful church. We took 32 people with us on Monday night to the meeting. How encouraging that is to me as the preacher to see the excitement of those that went.

Last night the Lord granted unto us a sweet time at the House of God. How thrilling it is to preach the Word of God and see the hunger in His people to learn and grow. I praise the Lord for what He continues to do.

Today along with studying, visiting, and discipleship I plan to install the drawers on a set of cabinets I have made over the last several months. I give God all the glory for the wisdom that He has given me to work with my hands. What a great God we serve that gives us gifts to use for Him.

Pray much for me tonight as I meet with the trustees from the Methodist church in town to discuss options that may be available for our purchase of their campus. We are so thrilled to see what God is going to do. We have a vision to build a church here that has 500 people in it that are sold out and serving God to the fullest. It remains to be seen what God can do with a group of people like that. I must say I want to be one of those individuals.

I'm Overwhelmed with God's Goodness

February 2, 2009 7:22a.m.

As I write this blog this morning my heart is overwhelmed with how good GOD has been to each of us. I realize it has been a while since I updated everyone. God is doing so much each and every day that it's very hard to take time to type it all out.

For example on yesterday the Spirit of God moved into our service in a special way and dealt with all of us in the area of total surrender. Glory!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!! I know this does not describe what happened but it's hard to put into words. I never got to preach as the Holy Ghost was moving in and through the services speaking individually to the people. Many testified of total surrender and how GOD had granted them the victory in that area. What a joy and delight is was to experience this.

We had a missionary with us last night going to Maple Ontario. It was exciting to be in the service and hear his message and see his presentation.

I have something that I want all of you to pray about. On Thursday night at 7p.m. I am going to meet with the trustees of the Methodist church in town. Pray with us that GOD would make it plain for us if we are to move forward with the purchase of this property. We are passionately seeking GOD'S will in this regard.

Also before I sign off, I had an interesting experience on Saturday as I landed the Cherokee Six on the ice at Alton Bay N.H. I will get a video of this for all to see. It was rather exhilarating.

I covet your prayers for our family as we continue to serve the LORD here in this region.

Love you All
