Greetings in the Lovely Name of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ

Well, we are on our way home. I appreciate the renewal and reviving we all have experienced as a family these last three days. The truth is that we love people to much to stay away to long. I'm excited about the new year and all God is going to do through the Calvary Baptist Church of Sanford Maine. I believe as each of us are close to the heart of God and obedient the result will be exciting growth. The local church is alive hence growth should be the natural thing that happens. I believe as we set things in order the Lord will honor that and we in turn will be able to minister to more people. We must put things in place to be ready to minister to more people!
Whoopee!!! Glory to God!!

Greetings in the Wonderful and Matchless Name of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ

What a glorious morning the Lord has blessed us with here in Southern Maine. The weather is warm and we are expecting rain today and tomorrow. Sure does shovel easy. I am excited about being able to meet a family from New Brunswick today that is praying about what God would have them to do. They are praying about our ministry. Please pray with me that God's will be done.

My day was blessed on yesterday. We had a good time together rejoicing in God's goodness and Grace on our life. Several families came over to enjoy a Christmas meal with us. Thank God for what HE is doing in our midst.

Today I will be studying most of the day preparing for tomorrow. I will be teaching the adult Sunday School, preaching the morning service, having a leadership meeting in the afternoon, choir practice and church at night. Sounds like alot to study for. I'm thrilled to see what God is going to do in this new year. I'm expecting our church to grow by at least 100 this year. It's not that I'm counting but I do believe that each person represents a soul that needs to be saved. May the God of Heaven continue to build an old fashioned Baptist Church right in the middle of this contemporary culture. Amen and Amen!!!

Greetings in that Name that is above all Names!! The Lord Jesus Christ!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

What a wonderful day I had on yesterday. I spent most of the day praying and studying and seeking the face of the Almighty for our services on last night. I was thrilled to be able to preach and once again present the cantata. The service was well attended with many visitors. No one came forward to be saved but it was obvious that the Lord was in our midst and moving in power and glory. As we do so often in these parts of the country we wait and be patient.

Today I will be with my family all day and working around the house. I probally will go to the airport and do some work also. I am excited about another day to serve my King. What a joy it is to be an ambassador for Jesus Christ. Their is nothing else in this world that could thrill me more than to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for letting me help!!!

Greetings in the Marvelous Name of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ

What a glorious day on yesterday. I spent a good part of the day in my study planning for the new year. I also received and made several phone calls to encourage others. It was a very profitable day in my study.

In the evening we went Christmas Caroling. It was a huge success. I thank God for the good church that HE has allowed me to pastor. We had 41 out and it was a wonderful time. I really enjoyed singing in Walmart. This was our third year and I thank God for the good manager at Walmart that has let us come every year and carol. We also caroled at Floyd's, Doug's, Jason's, the Newton Center, and McDonalds.

Today I will be in my study a good part of the day and at the airport cleaning and organizing. I can't wait until the service tonight. Please pray for me as I preach and lead our choir for the special Christmas Eve service. All of you are welcome to watch via our live webcasting at http://www.calvaryofsanford.org/sermons.html and click on the live button. Be sure to refresh your browser around service time.

Greetings in Jesus Name

My wife and I had a wonderful day on yesterday. We ended up spending most of the day together shopping for the kids and family. I got to talk to a bunch of people and invite them out to our Christmas Eve service. What a blessing it is to be able to talk to people.

Last night our family went on another date to Walmart to grocery shop together. Mrs. Amy says that the bill is cheaper when we don't all go. Ha!

Today I will be studying this morning and then go flying this afternoon. I need to take an area pastor up and get him current at the controls. Tonight we get to go spoil another pastor. I love to be a blessing and can't wait to take this pastor and his wife out and be a blessing. God has been so good to us and it's wonderful to be able to do something extra for another Man of God!

God Bless each of you and I look forward to seeing you Christmas Caroling tommorow night and church on Thursday Night at 6. Praise the Lord!!

What a wonderful day we had on yesterday. I praise God for how He moved in power and glory on the services. It was exciting to be able to present the journey of Christmas in the morning service. The evening Christmas program was special likewise. The Holy Ghost helped me as I preached the Word of God. No one moved in the invitations but their were several that raised their hands for salvation. Please pray that these will get their heart right with God.

I am thrilled about all that God is going to do in the services this week. I am praying that many come out to hear the musical and the Gospel presentation.

Today I will spend time with my family. It's of utmost importance that I do this. I love my family.

Greetings in the Marvelous Name of our SAVIOUR the LORD JESUS CHRIST!!

Ga 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Col 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Col 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

I have spent a good part of this week in my personal devotions looking at these verses. Right at the beginning I want to say that if all of these things came natural, the Spirit of God would not have told us to do this. These are not suggestions for us as Christians, but rather commands for us to live by. We are to individually and passionately put these on.

1) Put on the whole armour of God
When studying the Word of God we must ask ourselves questions. This helps us in our daily walk. It helps us to see where we are. Christians find themselves getting use to sin. I know that sounds like a paradox because we call ourselves Christians but yet put up with sin in our lives. We sugar coat it and make it out to be possibly a mistake or a mistep. We all must come clean before God and say the same thing He says about our life. You may ask, "Preacher what are you getting to?" Thanks for asking! If the scripture says we are to put on something and we don't then what is that called? I will give you a hint, DISOBEDIENCE! Well, maybe I gave you a little more than a hint but it's so true. Again, these principles in the Word of God are commands that we must take literally and clothe ourselves with these different pieces. Are we clothed with the whole armour of God? Have we by faith put on each piece of this mighty armour where with we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the devil? Wow! What a mighty truth we find in this text!

2) Put on the new man
When were born again the scripture declares that we are a new man. It's not that we have a new body yet, that's coming soon, it's that we are new creatures in Christ. We have a new life, a new talk, a new walk, a new attitude, a new home, a new hope, a new glory, a new friend, a new church, a new outlook, simply a new everything. Could someone please say AMEN!!!!!

3) Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Look at all these things the scripture ask us to put on. Have you ever thought if each of us really lived out the truths of these passages how much better a world we would live in. Let's get personal with this. How bout our local churches that we are a part of. I have learned from being in the ministry for 20 years that very few people really live out the truths of these passages. I have been treated worse by so called church people before than I have by the world. The Lord says, put on all these things. Put on means to be clothed with, or to sink into clothing. Are we clothed with all these things today? As I type I'm saying to me not you, Lord help me to be clothed with each of these. It's a decision of the will that I will choose to be clothed with these things that honor God not something else that does not honor God.

4) Put on Charity
He says above all these things put on charity. We know we can do everything right and have everything in the world and not have charity and we are nothing. The God of Heaven must help us to be loving, kind, Christians. If your reading these words and you have been born again were new creatures in Christ. May each of us act like it and keep short accounts with our God. When the Holy Ghost convicts you of something get it right then not later. Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

May God encourage each of us to live out these truths daily in our lives.

It's cool out their this morning with the tempature setting at the big goose egg 0!!

I thank the Lord this morning for how good HE has been to me. He is worthy to be praised. The list I could make would be very long so I will just personally praise Him this morning. Have you spent time today doing just that?

My day was busy and blessed on yesterday with studying, sharing the gospel, fellowshipping and listening to two messages. It was a wonderful day and I bless the Lord for how He helped me so graciously.

I am excited about having the oppurtunity to go over to the new building on Sunday and let all of the church see it. We are anxiously awaiting the God of Heaven to move and work out all the details.

Today I will study and visit and work at the church on the platform. Bro. Henry built an extra piece but I will need one on both sides now to fit the choir. Sooooooo with that in mind I will be busy all day. I appreciate all of you praying for me to have a wonderful day of work.

May the God of Heaven bless each of you as you serve Him who is all together lovely.

Greetings in Jesus Name on this cool Monday morning!!

We had a tremendous day on yesterday. Our services were filled with the blessings of God. I appreciate the Lord helping me to preach the Word of God. The Holy Ghost gave me what I needed to share with the people and I am eternally grateful for that. I spent all day preparing our church for the next move that I feel we need to take. We have waited patiently for over a year now and looked at alot of different buildings in this town. All of the other doors have closed except for one and that's the one we are going to be pursuing. Please pray that the God of Heaven would direct us.

Today I will be studying in the morning and then helping Bro. Don load the truck. This afternoon I plan on spending some quality time with my beautiful family and enjoying each others company.

Please pray for me this week and ask God to help me to have wisdom beyond my years. I have alot of major decisions to make and I need clear direction from the Lord!!

WOW!!!! What a great day I had on yesterday. It was so exciting to see 26 soul winners out and about all over this area. I am thrilled with all of those that came out to help reach souls.

I built a shelf in the afternoon and then studied some to finish out the day.

I am excited about this Lord's Day to see what HE has in store for us. We are praying for many visitors today and for souls to be saved. Please continue to pray about the new building for us. I should be able to report something maybe even next week.

Oh how I am craving the Power of God to be on my life today as I minister the Word. Please pray for supernatural power in the services today here in Sanford.

As you can see from the pictures of yesterday I had a good time looking at that big plane. It's just a bit overwhelming. I'm amazed at how big one of those gulfstreams are. It only cost about 4,000 dollars an hour to fly it. Not bad huh!!!

The flight down there and back was very windy with winds gusting up to around 40 mph. I must be a panzy but I don't like that much anymore.

I did some visiting on yesterday afternoon and studying the cantata. In the evening my wife and I went to Turner to a basketball and volleyball game. It was fun to watch our two little kids play. I praise God for my family.

Today is Super Soul Winning Saturday and were going out this morning to give out invitation and try to win some people to Christ. Pray much for our team. It looks like were going to have around 25 soul winners out going door to door handing out tracts and invitations. It's going to be a blast and I can't wait to report on what God did!!!!!!!!

The rest of my day will be filled with study. I will be preparing for the day tommorow and trusting God for a supernatural day.

Thanks for keeping up with us. You do don't you?

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Our SAVIOUR the LORD JESUS CHRIST!!

My day on yesterday was blessed all day long. I visited in the morning and the afternoon. I had alot of good contacts and got to share the gospel with several people. Please pray that these individuals will get saved.

Last night a new family from church came over and we had a tremendous time singing and fellowshipping together. It was a joy to worship together. Pray much for this family as they make decisions in their life about becoming a part of our church.

Today I will be studying and visiting once again. Sounds kind of boring to some of you huh??? It's the life of a preacher. But when someone gets saved it makes it all worth while. This is what I live and long for in my life. Also I will be flying down to Bedford Ma. to look at a jet airplane with my friend. He's praying about buying one for his ministry and then if he does he wants me to fly it with him. Wouldn't be a bad deal!!!

What a glorious morning it is here in Sanford Maine. It's a cool 16 degrees with snow on the ground and the feel of winter is in the air. I love this time of the year and praise God for His many blessings on my life.

Yesterday was a tremendous day in the Lord. I started out early outside running Dick the Digger. Around 8 Pastor Wiley, Bro. Morgan and myself flew over to Nashua to be a part of a pastors fellowship. It was a wonderful time and the Lord really helped me from the preaching of the Word of God. It's always good to hear messages from the Holy Scriptures!! We had wonderful flights there and back and I praise God for three hours redeemed by taking the Cherokee Six.

Last night mom invited us over for a nice meal. It was very good and she did a great job in preparation. We fellowshipped and sung around the piano for a while and called it a day.

Today I will be studying, visiting, and working around the house. I also will be preparing for Bible Institute tonight. This morning I will fly Bro. Morgan to the airport to catch his flight. I'm looking forward to a tremendous day in the Lord.

God is so good and I do bless His Holy Name. Why not make a decision today that you are going to praise Him instead of belly ache and complain. The Lord will bless you for it.

It looks like we got our first snow of the year last night. We got somewhere around 4 inches and it is so beautiful.

I enjoyed the day God gave me on yesterday. I studied in the morning and then chatted with an old friend for a while on the phone. After lunch I picked up our speaker for today. I worked the rest of the day around the barn cleaning and organizing. This doesn't sound real spiritual but it had become spiritual for me because it was a mess. I took the preacher and my family out to eat in the evening. I praise the Lord for the good fellowship that we had.

Today Pastor John Morgan who has laboured for over 30 years in New York City will be preaching all day long. I'm looking forward to this because it will mean I get to listen and learn. What a delight it's going to be to hear the Word of God. If your in the area I invite you to come out to our Sunday School starting at 9:30, Worship at 10:30 and Sunday Night at 6p.m. We also will be flying up to Islesboro to be a part of the Island Baptist Church's afternoon service. This day should be a powerful day in the Lord! I am praying for the power of God to fall on our services and for each of us to experience the touch of God on our lives.

Boy was I tired last night. I preached twice yesterday and worked in the wood and worked in my shop till 8 last night. God is so good to help me and encourage me and I am so grateful to be His bond slave. The meeting yesterday was absolutely wonderful. I praise God for the Filling of the Holy Ghost to be able to communicate the scriptures. The altars were full as I preached on pretenders. In the early chapel I preached on the affects of music in the life of the believer. The flights were wonderful and I took the chance to file two IFR routes to practice. I also shot two approaches which was fun.

I will picking up our special speaker today at the airport around 1 today. I'm looking forward to hearing him preach on tomorrow. I also will be studying this morning and running a brand new piece of machinery today "Butch the Bulldozer". Isn't this just absolutely fun!!

Greetings in the Marvelous Name of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ

I had a wonderful day on yesterday. I was busy in the morning getting ready for building the road on dads land. After that I went shopping to get another compressor for my shop. While I was out I did some visiting. I was talking to the lady at the register and she said she was from Jackman. That was interesting to me because in the morning I had asked the Lord to direct me to where He wants me to go next with the gospel as far as outreach goes. I realize we must be busy around here and we are but we should always be thinking about places that do not have a gospel witness. We had a good conversation and come to find out she had been saved since being down here. What a blessing and I believe an open door.

In the afternoon I did some more visiting and even took a short motorcycle ride to the airport. It was 68 degrees yesterday. You got to love that kind of weather. At night I went out with the kids, my dad and Ron to get something to eat.

The Christmas party for the ladies was a huge success. Alot of ladies from the church came out and it was a good time for them. Praise the Lord for all He is doing in our ladies group at church. Their must have been 30 or more come out for this great event.

Pray much for me today as I study and then fly up to Lisbon to preach two chapel services. I am thrilled about the prospects of what God is going to do as the gospel is preached. I appreciate the God of Heaven calling me into the ministry and giving me such an opportunity to serve Him.

This afternoon I plan on doing some more visiting and also cutting some wood getting ready for dad's house. It's going to be a great day serving King Jesus!!!

Greetings in Jesus Name

What a tremendous day I had on yesterday. I enjoyed my study time in the morning and in the afternoon. Also I ran the digger for alot of the day preparing to start building the road. My day was capped off with a wonderful service last night. The Spirit of God moved and worked among us as I preached on "Where the Spirit of the Lord is their is liberty." Praise the Lord for His touch!

Today I will be in my study, visiting, and starting to work on the road. Somewhere I have to find a culvert for this road I'm building. Tonight I will have discipleship Lord willing. I just know it's going to be a great day because I am serving a Great God.

Oh yeah, the choir went completely through the cantata last night. It's going to be a 45 minute spectacular. Glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is time going. Lord teach us to number our days. "Redeeming the time because the days are evil". When I typed out December the 2nd I went WOW!

What a wonderful day on yesterday with studying and visiting and working. The Lord blessed in a powerful way all throughout the day.

The Bible Institute was a great blessing last night as I taught on some practical things about the Bible. STUDY IT!!!!

Much of my day will be spent today pretty much the same. I will be studying and working on the road. Pray that God gives me wisdom beyond my years.

Keep up the prayers for me. I greatly desire them.

Greetings in the Wonderful and Matchless Name of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ!

It's a terrific Tuesday here in Maine this morning as I type this out. I am so glad I'm saved and have the assurance that my sins have been forgiven by the Blood of Christ.

My day was blessed on yesterday as I studied till around 10 and then was out on Dick the Digger for the rest of the day. I dug all the loam out of the roadway and now were ready for material to build dad's road.

We enjoyed hamburgers on the grill last night and family devotions to follow. We are reading through Romans 3 daily. What a blessing to see the Word of God have an impact in all our lives.

Today I will be studying and preparing for Bible Institute, meeting with Bro. Dave in the morning and working outside some. I thrilled to see what God has in store for me through out this day. I 'm praying that I can share the gospel with someone today and possibly lead them to Christ.
